Spin-glass order in infinite-layer nickelate superconductors

Novel magneto-optical measurements in infinite-layer nickelate superconductors Nd_0.825Sr_0.175NiO₂ and La_0.8Sr_0.2NiO₂ unveil the onset of spin-glass order at temperatures \(T_f\) much higher than the superconducting critical temperature \(T_c\). A large variation in the magnitude and onset temperature of the magnetic signal is observed among Nd_0.825Sr_0.175NiO₂ samples fabricated on different substrates.
